About the Waved API
A REST API for understanding venue activity and building your own responsive services.
Data with a purpose
Waved sensors follow the changing sound environment in a venue. The API makes venue and zone context available to authorised integrations through live, trending and historical resources.
Use that context to inform your own music, signage, lighting or building services. The API supplies documented data; the behaviour of a connected service is designed and controlled by your integration.
Three concepts to understand
Loudness is a measure of sound intensity. Mood describes the energy of the crowd relative to the venue. Vibe is the target atmosphere selected by the venue team.
Access and venue permission
Partner accounts, client credentials, venue connection and token authentication are separate steps. Start with the access guide and the token endpoint before requesting venue data.
